Bentley is gearing up to introduce the EXP 100 GT tomorrow, on its 100th anniversary, so the company has released a final teaser video of the concept.
The clip doesn’t reveal much, but it shows the car will have an illuminated hood ornament and two-tone alloy wheels with “B” center caps. We can also see what appears to be an active aerodynamics system and a leather interior with distinctive contrast stitching. There’s also an illuminated component, but we’re not entirely sure what it is.
Bentley has been tight-lipped about the EXP 100 GT, but the company said it’s a “transformative zero emissions concept car that will inspire extraordinary human experiences through a perfect blend of technology and craftsmanship.” The automaker went on to describe the model as the “physical embodiment of the future Bentley brand.”
There’s no word on powertrain details, but the concept promises to be a “showcase of sustainability and innovation, engineered to create a greater awareness of the world outside.” The company also said we can expect a “fascinating array of materials” that will help to set a new “benchmark for luxury craftsmanship.”
That’s pretty vague, but the EXP 100 GT is expected to be an electric vehicle. It alludes to the company’s future as Bentley has already announced plans to introduce its first electric vehicle by 2025. The company hasn’t said much about the model, but the automaker has previously stated EVs are a “big part of our future” and noted “over 30% of luxury buyers are interested in electric cars.”
While Bentley’s first electric vehicle is still a few years off, the automaker is embracing electrification in other ways. The company plans to have hybrid versions of all their models by 2023 and the first, the Bentayga plug-in hybrid, will arrive in the United States late this year.
