The facelifted 2020 A4 launched in May and included not one, but two S4 versions. The video below shows off the car’s overhauled exterior in all its glory and may encourage you to rush out to your nearest Audi dealership to see one in person.
Filmed high up in the mountains of Italy, the clip provides a detailed look at both the interior and exterior of the new car. It also allows us to hear the vehicle in mild-hybrid diesel guise and showcases the trick head- and taillights as well as the larger MMI infotainment system, which has a 10.1-inch touch display with acoustic feedback.

Depending on the market, you can get either a petrol or a diesel new S4 and S4 Avant. The former sports a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 349 HP and 368 lb-ft of torque between 1370 and 4500 rpm and can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds before maxing out at 155 mph (250 km/h).
The diesel S4, on the other hand, utilizes a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that churns out 342 HP and 516 lb-ft of torque, giving it a significant torque edge over the petrol model. It also incorporates an electrically powered compressor within the 48-volt main electric system to eliminate turbo lag. It will accelerate to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds and has the same, electronically limited top speed of 155 mph that’s customary in most German performance cars (Porsche excluded).
