To celebrate the premiere of the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette, the American car manufacturer has published no less than 23 videos on YouTube detailing various aspects of the long-awaited mid-engined sports car.

The videos, all featured in the playlist below curated by yours truly, take a deep dive into the new car and highlights some of the most intriguing aspects of the car, including some which could be easily overshadowed by obvious features such as the 6.2-liter V8 engine and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

One of our favorite features of the C8 Corvette is its front lift system. Chevrolet says the system can lift the front of the car by two inches in under three seconds. Drivers can engage the lift system at the touch of a button but it can also be programmed to remember the GPS locations of up to 1000 obstacles which owners may experience on their daily commute. If there are five speed bumps in your street, for example, you can tell the system to memorize the locations of those speed bumps and in the future, the lift system will be engaged automatically as you approach them.

Another innovative feature of the C8 Corvette are its two trunks. Yes, two. Typically, mid-engined cars only feature storage compartments up front but Chevrolet has also designed a large storage area directly behind the mid-mounted engine. This rear trunk isn’t particularly small, either. In fact, it stores the removable roof panel and even has enough room to accommodate two golf bags.

Other special features of the new C8 Corvette include its updated Performance Data Recorded, Z-Mode, various interior trim and seat options, and the innovative eLSD.

Prices for the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette will start at under $60,000 in the United States for the standard Stingray model equipped with a naturally-aspriated 6.2-lier V8 engine pumping out 490 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. The car can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than three seconds.
