Kevin Hart isn’t just one of the world’s most famous comedians but also a successful actor and, of more importance to us, a huge car enthusiast. This is his latest ride.
To celebrate his 40th birthday, Hart picked up a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda and sent it to HP Tuners for a series of extensive modifications, including the fitment of a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 Hellcat engine.

The restomod clearly wasn’t cheap, and while we don’t know exactly how much power Hart’s modified ‘Cuda has, it’s probably roughly the same 707 hp as both the Charger Hellcat and Challenger Hellcat models. What we do know for certain is that this huge engine has been paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission sending its power to the rear wheels, not the six-speed the Hellcat is available with.
Inside, the Plymouth looks unlike any other we’ve seen before. Perhaps the first thing you’ll notice is that, it sports a rotary dial to switch between Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive. The muscle car has also been equipped with power windows and bathed in plush leather. There is also a bespoke steering wheel and new gauges creating a cabin which looks to be the perfect blend of modern and retro.
As for the exterior, it is painted in a dark shade of blue and has been fitted with black wheels, while a peak under the hood reveals an exceptionally clean engine bay bathed in carbon fiber.
