Thought the new Porsche 935 looked good in photos? Well, video of the car running off the hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will make you fall absolutely head over heels for the track-only special.
The new-age Porsche 935 was unveiled towards the end of September last year but as customer delivered have yet to kick off, we haven’t seen all that many videos of the GT2 RS-based supercar on the move. It looks absolutely remarkable, especially in the Martini livery of this particular example.
Porsche will only build 77 examples of the new 935 Clubsport. Each is powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine of the 911 GT2 RS, pumping out a total of 690 hp. This engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with rigid mounts which sends power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential optimized for racing.

All of the vehicle’s exterior body panels are made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer, ensuring the car only weighs 3042 lbs (1380 kg). The panels are bespoke to the 935 but some parts have been borrowed from the Porsche parts catalog, namely the lights from the Porsche 919 Hybrid LMP1 prototype.
The Porsche 935 Clubsport isn’t cheap. In fact, it will set customers back 701,948 euros or about $815,000 in the U.S. That may seem like a lot, especially when you consider that a GT2 RS starts at under $300,000 locally. However, customers are paying for exclusivity and absolutely gorgeous looks.
