Hyundai has announced pricing details for the 2020 Accent just a few days after unveiling the refreshed vehicle.
While we expected the starting price for the 2020 Accent to go unchanged for 2020, it has been bumped up by $200 to $15,195 excluding the $930 freight fee. For this money, buyers will get the entry-level Accent Sedan SE model outfitted with a six-speed manual transmission.
The Accent Sedan SE, as well as all other Accent variants, is outfitted with the company’s new 1.6-liter Smartstream four-cylinder engine with 120 hp and 113 lb-ft (153 Nm) of torque, down from the 130 hp and 119 lb-ft (161 Nm) figures quoted for the older 1.6-liter.

Sitting above the Sedan SE with the manual transmission is the SE equipped with the Smartstream intelligent variable transmission which replaces the six-speed automatic. Pricing for this model starts at $16,295. Among the standard features for the SE are a 5-inch color touchscreen, rearview camera, Bluetooth, cruise control, and a 6-way adjustable driver seat with height adjustment.
Those looking for added features can opt for the Accent Sedan SEL model starting at $17,550 and sold exclusively with the same Smartstream transmission. Extras included in this variant are 15-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a driver’s blind spot mirror.
Topping out the 2020 Accent range is the Sedan Limited priced from $19,300. It receives forward collision-avoidance assist as standard alongside a power sunroof, LED headlights and taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, and a 3.5-inch TFT monochromatic cluster display.
The 2020 Hyundai Accent can be finished in either Absolute Black, Frost White Pearl, Olympus Silver, Admiral Blue, Urban Gray, Pomegranate Red, or Linen Beige.
