Mercedes recently announced a handful of debuts for the Frankfurt Motor Show, but there will apparently be one more in the form of the 2020 GLE Coupe.
Teased on Twitter earlier today, the redesigned GLE Coupe will be unveiled on August 28th. Mercedes isn’t saying much about the model, but it promises to be more luxurious and coupe-like than before.
Spy photographers have snapped the upcoming crossover coupe on numerous occasions, including earlier today when it was spotted in AMG guise. The model follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, but adopts a more refined design which appears sleeker and sportier than before.

The cabin will largely carryover from the standard GLE, so drivers can expect a 12.3-inch digital instrument, a 12.3-inch infotainment system and natural language voice control technology. Besides the updated tech, there will be higher quality materials, an improved design and a host of new options.
Engine options remain unconfirmed, but we can expect a host of choices including a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 255 hp (190 kW / 258 PS) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque. There should also be a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six developing 362 hp (270 kW / 367 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.
