Remember when the Bugatti Veyron’s initial output was on everyone’s lips? Today, we have other vehicles that are equally powerful and cost way less, like the 2020 Rezvani Tank, which is capable of taking its occupants to the end of the world and back, literally.
Set to premiere at the Monterey Car Week on August 16, it’s available in three different grades. The most affordable option comes in at $155,000 and features a 285 HP 3.6-liter V6, but can also be ordered with a 500 HP 6.4-liter V8, or a 285 HP 3.0-liter diesel.
The other two pack the Dodge Demon-sourced 6.2-liter supercharged V8, tuned to deliver 1,000 hp and 870 lb-ft (1,180 Nm) of torque – with pricing starting at $295,000 for the Tank Military Edition and $349,000 for the Tank X.

Compared to the outgoing iteration, the 2020 Tank sports a slightly updated exterior design. The cockpit has remained occupant-friendly and is highly customizable, with different leather finishes, stitching, gauge cluster colors and so on. Taking center stage in the middle of the dashboard is an infotainment system with a 7.9-inch display that provides access to features like Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, Google Maps, Pandora, Stitcher and other apps, said to have been optimized for safe usage on the go.
The Tank Military Edition is truly a vehicle for the apocalypse, with thermal night vision, ballistic protection, military-grade run-flat tires, underside explosive protection, armored radiator, self-sealing fuel tank, reinforced suspension and ram bumpers. It also features electrified door handles, smoke screen, sirens and strobe lights, intercom, gas masks, EMP protection, a hypothermia and first aid kits and so on.
“The focus of the new generation Tank was to be athletic in design and stance, have a refined ride and suspension, have a luxurious interior, and surpass 1,000 horsepower, all in a car that’s bulletproof and easily a daily driver”, said CEO Ferris Rezvani. “The new Tank is easily the toughest and most powerful production SUV in the world.”
