Hyundai is introducing the 2020 Tucson to the US market, with the compact SUV getting new colors and repackaging some kit across its trim levels.
Don’t expect however any brand new colors, as Hyundai simply replaced the existing hues with new takes on them; Molten Silver is replaced by Stellar Silver, Coliseum Grey is replaced by Magnetic Force, Dazzling While gives its place to Winter White and White Pearl to Cream White.
The limited changes of the 2020 Tucson were to be expected, since Hyundai heavily updated its model last year, giving it a refreshed exterior look and a new interior, as well as replacing the 175 HP, 1.6-liter four-cylinder with a naturally aspirated, 181 HP 2.4 that’s paired to a six-speed auto gearbox.

The base engine of the 2020 Hyundai Tucson remains a 2.0-liter four with 161 HP and 150lb-ft of torque. Like before, the range consists of the base 2.0-liter Value and SE trims, with the 2.4-liter version available in the SEL, Sport, Limited and Ultimate trims.
The 2020 Tucson comes with plenty of safety features as standard, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning. Customers can opt for additional systems like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assist, Rain-sensing wipers, Surround View Monitor and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.
Also standard is Hyundai’s 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard. Wireless charging is an option, as well as the company’s Blue Link connected services pack.
