The Ford Expedition is about to get a new trim level called the King Ranch. The special model, which was discontinued 2 years ago, is part of the 2020MY and will reportedly sit between the Limited and Platinum models.
Quoting order guides that are yet to be disclosed, CarsDirect said the new trim level will be available in Expedition and Expedition Max specs, from $74,290, making it about $22,000 more expensive than the outgoing base Expedition.

On the outside, the 2020 Expedition King Ranch is expected with a more rugged look, featuring Stone Gray trim on both bumpers, side mirror caps, roof rails and power running boards. The SUV will ride on machined-aluminum 22-inch wheels, with a 6-spoke pattern.
Enhancing the design inside will be the Del Rio leather upholstery on the seats, doors, center console and steering wheel, ‘King Ranch’ logo embossed in the seats, brushed aluminum scuff plates and special floor mats. Furthermore, the trim level is thought to get a lot of standard gear, including power folding side mirrors, 360-degree camera system, panoramic roof and LED lights. The automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, park assist and automatic high beams will be standard.
In the power department, the 2020 Expedition King Ranch will carry over the familiar 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, delivering 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet (651 Nm) of torque, with the aid of a 10-speed automatic transmission.
