The tuning specialists over at Manhart Racing have just unveiled their latest package for the Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S Coupe. The kit is for the pre-facelift model and adds a serious amount of extra grunt to the German SUV.
Powering the GLC 63 S Coupe is a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 that delivers 510 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Manhart’s package makes those figures seem puny thanks to the fitment of new turbochargers, a bespoke air intake, an upgraded intercooler, and a different fuel injection system that result in a total output of 700 HP and 669 lb-ft (908 Nm) of torque.

Manhart also went to the trouble of tuning the vehicle’s nine-speed Speedshift transmission to suit the new characteristics of the engine and fitted a bespoke exhaust system.
Complementing the mechanical modifications are a few small exterior alterations. The first, and most obvious of these, is an available yellow livery inspired by the array of Mercedes-AMG Edition 1 models released in the past couple of years. The car also sits on a set of new 21-inch Concave One wheels.
We don’t yet have pricing details for the upgrades, but suspect they won’t be what you’d call cheap. With such significant bumps in power and torque, however, we believe quite a few owners will be happy to splurge on the added performance.
