There are only a handful of cars on Earth that are more luxurious than a Mercedes-Maybach. It’s the ultimate S-Class, and if you go for the S650 version, you also get a 6.0-liter twin turbo V12 engine, with 621 HP (630 PS) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque.

The power is then channeled to the rear wheel with the help of a seven-speed automatic gearbox, propelling you towards 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.6 seconds. Not bad for something that weighs nearly 5,300 lbs (2.4 tonnes).

As you can imagine, a car like this doesn’t come cheap. In fact, U.S. buyers need to spend at least $200,000 in order to land a 2019 model, and that’s without even touching the options list – very few people would leave such a car as is without customization.

Speaking of customization, instead of worrying about stuff like the Executive Rear Seat Package or Magic Sky Control (both factory options), one could simply ring up Carlex Design and go all in on their so-called Aurum Edition model.

It features a more exclusive interior from the get go, with either rose gold or yellow gold inserts, depending on what the customer would like.

All such vehicles modified by the Polish tuner will be based on the S650 flagship, boasting Obsidian Black exteriors and Designo Exclusive semi-aniline leather – silk beige / satin red pearl interiors.

As you can see from these images, there’s gold pretty much everywhere: steering wheel, vent surrounds, speakers, door handles, and on nearly all of the buttons.

Does it look better than stock though? We’ll leave that up to you to decide.
