The reception to the latest-generation Suzuki Jimny has been hugely positive and we wouldn’t be at all surprised if the car manufacturer decided to cash-in on the interest for the tiny off-roader by offering a selection of different body types. These two renderings preview a five-door Jimny.
Created for Russian publication Auto Mail by Nikita Chuyko, the Jimny rendered features the same bright shade of yellow/green paint which the three-door model launched with but obviously adds a pair of extra doors.
Consumers appear won over by the boxy, Mercedes-Benz G-Class-like shape of the new Suzuki Jimny and these renderings show that the design translates perfectly for a five-door variant. Will such a model become a reality? It’s possible.

At the start of this year during the Tokyo Auto Salon, Suzuki showcased a one-off Jimny-based pickup truck. Unsurprisingly, people loved it, particularly those in Australia. Which Car reports that Suzuki Australia was swiftly inundated with for demands for a Jimny pickup and a larger five-door model. The car manufacturer is confident there would be demand for both models.
“If the name starts with ‘Jimny’, we’ll sell it,” Suzuki Australia general manager Michael Pachota said at the time. “A five-door would broaden the range of customers beyond just the thrill-seekers, the adventure seekers and the young drivers who just want the cutest 4×4 on the block. It would really broaden our demographic.”
