Sales of Honda’s 2020 Accord Hybrid are about to start and the automaker has released official pricing details and fuel economy ratings ahead of tomorrow’s launch.
Pricing will start from $26,400 – including a $930 destination charge – and reach up to $36,070 for the range-topping Hybrid Touring model. This makes the 2020 Accord Hybrid the most affordable mid-size hybrid sedan in America.
New features for the 2020 model year include an updated Acoustic Vehicle Alert System for when the car operates on electricity alone. Honda adds that all models will now have a fuel economy rating of 48 mpg city / 47 mpg highway / 48 mpg combined.

Power comes from a third-generation two-motor hybrid powertrain that’s combined with a 2.0-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder engine. The combined output remains unchanged at 212 hp (158 kW / 215 PS).
Every 2020 Honda Accord Hybrid comes equipped with the company’s Sensing suite of driver assistance systems. It includes Collision Mitigation Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and Traffic Sign Recognition technology.
Other standard features include automatic high-beam headlights, a multi-angle rearview camera, a driver-attention monitor and Bluetooth connectivity. Hybrid EX and above models get an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as HD Radio and Sirius XM.
The range-topping 2020 Accord Hybrid Touring adds HondaLink subscription services, compatibility with Amazon Key and 4G connectivity – among other things.
