Bespoke 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Thinks It’s Worth Almost $45K

Fans of lowriders everywhere might want to check out this pavement-hugging, bespoke 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with an alleged 500 miles (800 km) on its re-built engine.

The car started life as a rust-free classic in Arizona, before ending up as a showstopper at SEMA 2016 featuring a highly customized exterior and interior. According to the eBay ad, it took over 1,000 hours to build, which is probably why the seller is hoping to get $44,900 for it.

Starting with the body, it features a custom Pearl White paint job, one-off roof built by Counts Kustoms in Las Vegas, CPP brake discs, custom suspension, LED headlights, a dual exhaust system with 13-inch glass-packs and dual-tone 20-inch Lexani wheels.

The seller doesn’t say much else about the engine, other than the fact that it’s the 472 unit, meaning it’s a 7.7-liter V8, which we assume is still mated to a 3-speed automatic gearbox, like all third-gen Coupe DeVilles. They do, however, state that it boasts new belts, fluids, gaskets and a brand new A/C unit.

As for the interior, that’s where things get really show car-ish. The seats come with a double-stitch diamond pattern, the black headliner has ‘Cadillac’ embroidered out back, there’s a red LED lighting kit underneath the dashboard and rear seat, while a red LED billet button is there to operate the remote trunk/door poppers. Oh, and trunk has LED lighting.

Last, but not least, there’s a JL Audio system with Bluetooth and USB/AUX ports and two 12-inch subwoofers hidden away in the trunk.

The ad states that the car can be driven anywhere and that it can sit in traffic or cruise across the country without issues. We have no reason to doubt that, but would you use it as your daily driver?
