With over 500,000 units delivered in under 8 years, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221 remains one of the best-selling generations of the German flagship saloon ever – and with so many of them out there, Lorinser hopes to nab some requests with a tuning kit that includes power upgrades and a visual makeover.

In exchange for €1,084 ($1,196) without tax in Germany, the tuner can make your S250 CDI, S320 CDI, S350 BlueTec, S350 CDI, S420 CDI and S500 CGI a tad more powerful.

The upgrades for the S63 AMG, which will lift the output from 544 PS (536 hp / 400 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque to 604 PS (595 hp / 444 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft), or from 571 PS (563 hp / 420 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) to 631 PS (622 hp / 464 kW) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft), cost €1,252 ($1,382), excluding tax.

Aside from the extra muscle, Lorinser can fit your older S-Class with a new body kit featuring a reshaped front bumper, custom side sills and rear diffuser, from €4,765 ($5,258). The chromed grille, rear lip and roof spoiler are options that cost €530 ($585), €350 ($386) and €375 ($414), respectively, whereas the new front fenders will set you back €1,650 ($1,821).

A lowering kit for the standard suspension or optional air suspension is also available for €400 ($441), whereas rounding up the list of visual changes are the aftermarket wheels. Here, Lorinser’s proposal is the RS 8 set, which starts at €520 ($574) and is available in different finishes and sizes, up to 21-inches. Other wheel patterns are also available.

Lorinser’s tuning kit for the W221 S-Class definitely makes it more vibrant. But would you really want to mess with the original styling of the car?
