Back in June, a YouTuber published a video depicting what Need for Speed would look like in real life and the video quickly went viral, gaining almost 2 million views. Fast forward to September and the second installment in this ‘Need for Speed in Real Life’ series has been shared. And it’s even better than the first.
Whereas the first video ran for just 1-minute, this latest clip is almost 5-minutes long and takes the viewer into three different performance cars. First, we jump into the driver’s seat of a silver Mk4 Toyota Supra that competes in a drag race against a Nissan R34 Skyline, a Mazda RX-7, and a VW Polo. With a quick hit of nitrous, the Supra is able to breeze through to victory

The second vehicle featured is a silver Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII complete with tire writing that hilariously reads ‘F**king Quick.” For this race, the rally-bred sedan is put to the test against a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Honda S2000, and a white Toyota Supra. A series of perfect shifts and some nitrous help it to walk away with the win.
While both the Supra and Evo featured are cool, it is the third and final car that’s the real highlight; an R34 Skyline GT-R painted blue and outfitted with gloss black Nismo wheels. No less than two drag races are staged with the Skyline. It claims wins in both.
The clip has been expertly shot and perfectly mimics what games like Need for Speed: Underground 2 were all about. If you grew up playing these classics, you’ll love this video.
