Rolls-Royce’s radical 103EX concept car, also known as the Vision Next 100, has finally returned to the company’s home in Goodwood, England.
Unveiled in 2016 to mark parent company BMW’s 100th anniversary, the 103EX electric vehicle study has toured the world ever since. The Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood is the latest stop on a world tour that lasted more than three years.
Following its official unveiling at London’s Roundhouse in 2016, the concept was briefly displayed at Goodwood before embarking on a global adventure that included appearances at customer and media events across the world.

The 103EX arrived at Rolls’ HQ in its own bespoke transporter, accompanied by the specialist Experimental Vehicle Team who have maintained and prepared the EV concept throughout its long travels.
The concept is a technological tour-de-force, featuring a fully electric drive train, completely autonomous drive, and enhanced artificial intelligence. According to the company, it embodies the brand’s “uncompromised view of the future of luxury mobility”.
“We are delighted to welcome 103EX home to Goodwood. After almost four years on international duties, we felt it was time for the experimental model to return home. It is a chance for those who worked on the project to relive some great memories, and for people who have joined us more recently to discover one of the most important cars we have ever built,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Featuring a hand-built chassis made by advanced materials, the 103EX is Rolls-Royce’s first fully autonomous electric vehicle. There is no steering wheel in the cabin, as driving duties are taken over by “Eleanor,” a virtual assistant and chauffeur that interacts with the passengers – and you can check it out in Supercar Blondie‘s in-depth video presentation right below.
