A recently-delivered 2020 Toyota GR Supra Launch Edition with just 23 miles (37 km) on the clock is up for sale on Bring A Trailer.
This is one of the first 2020 Supras we’re aware of to go up for auction. To no one’s surprise, it isn’t being sold by an individual who simply had a change of heart; it has instead been listed for sale through a dealership, likely trying to make a quick buck off the sports car that’s currently in high demand.
Adorning the exterior of this Supra Launch Edition is a White Metallic paint with gloss black wheels and red brake calipers. The Supra Launch Edition comes as standard with bright red wing mirror caps, but this example has been optioned with carbon fiber ones that look even better.

Inside, there is red leather in most surfaces, including the seats, and carbon fiber trim. The ‘Launch Edition’ plaque on the car says that this is the 966th example out of the 1,500 that will be built.
We had the opportunity to drive the new Supra at its global launch a couple of months back and were impressed. Sure, the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six may be sourced from BMW, but it has proven itself to be quite the performer, with no less than 335 HP on tap and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque – figures that have proven to be rather pessimistic more than a few times already.
At the time of writing, the car had attracted a highest bid of $50,550. Toyota’s MSRP is $55,250, but with seven days still left in the auction, this example will certainly sell for much more than that.
