A scary head-on collision was caught by a dashcam in New Hampshire earlier this year – and, before you jump to any conclusions, no, it wasn’t the ‘Stang’s fault.
The clip starts with the cammer following a first-generation Volvo XC90 on a two-lane road. One minute from the start of the video, the SUV veers to the left and enters the opposite lane. At that point, we can see clearly that there was plenty of time for the driver to steer back before hitting oncoming traffic.
However, they didn’t and went further to the left, with the left-side wheels even exiting the tarmac. We then see a first-generation Honda CR-V dodging the big, cherry red-painted bullet as its driver managed to avoid impact at the last time.

However, the following driver was not that lucky, as his brand new Ford Mustang got smashed head on by the Swedish SUV. Fortunately, everyone involved in the crash walked away with minor injuries, according to the video description.
“While out driving for work I happened to catch this accident. Everyone walked away with minor injuries. The Mustang happened to be brand new with the temp tag still on it,” writes Austin Callahan, the man who uploaded the footage.
As for the cause of the accident, it appears that the old lady driving the Volvo experienced a medical problem that caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
