The 2020 Acura ILX has arrived in showrooms with a starting price of $25,900 (excluding $995 destination and handling tax), the same as the 2019 model which sported a number of major upgrades.

Last year’s changes included a sportier appearance, standard AcuraWatch technology, plus updated onboard tech such as available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

The 2020 ILX can be purchased with three distinct packages, named Premium, Technology and A-Spec, each powered by a 201 HP 2.4-liter i-VTEC four mated to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Additionally, all 2020 models feature the AcuraWatch suite of active safety and driver-assistive technologies, which consists of Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, as standard.

Other key features include the driver 2-way power lumbar control, front and rear sport seats (with available high-contrast piping and stitching), silver-finished dashboard trim with chrome insert, machine finished ignition button, 17-inch split 5-spoke wheels and a total of seven exterior color options: Majestic Black Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic, Apex Blue Pearl (A-Spec exclusive), Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.

As for the 2020 ILX A-Spec, it is available with exclusive 18-inch wheels, dark chrome trim for the front grille and lower fascia, LED fog lights, dark treatment for both headlights and taillights, a gloss black decklid spoiler, A-Spec badged steering wheel with contrast stitching and aluminum sport pedals, and sport seats finished in Ebony or Red leather with black Ultrasuede center panels.
