Over the years, many automotive startups have tried their luck into the hypercar segment, but only few have succeeded. Ajlani Motors wants to build its own supercar and, of course, succeed in its endeavor.
Founded by car designer Bashar Ajlani, the brand will uncover its first product at the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show on November 12. Probably called the Dragon, the hypercar has been in development for five years and is still shrouded in mystery, as the only things documenting its existence are a few teasers and a short release posted on the event’s website.

“Our hearts looked no further than the mythical beast to take liberty in our crest, the dragon. Automotive designer and founder Bashar Ajlani took passion and pride in harvesting the soul of the dragon throughout design elements of the car; and as important as it is, we believe our performance goals in the future will be a match to the presence this car exudes”, explained Ajlani.
“Our design has been kept under development and strict confidentiality for the past 5 years, and on November 12th we will unveil the car for the 1st time, showcasing what the brand stands for and where Ajlani Motors is headed next.”
At first glance, the vehicle has a very futuristic look, with sharp creases, bulky fenders and wide air intakes at the front. For the example that’s about to be unwrapped, the company has chosen a green exterior shade, apparently, that seems to be contrasted by a few black elements. We’re not entirely certain, but we could be looking at a mid-engine layout with an internal combustion engine, as per the adjacent teaser image that might preview a central-mounted exhaust tip.
Now, as exciting as another Middle Eastern hypercar is, we suspect it’s still some way into the future, as Ajlani is currently looking for an investor to take the project forward and put it into production.
