The all-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible has just been added to the sports car’s online visualizer over at Chevrolet.com. The car looks so good we’d be tempted to buy it over the coupe (if we could afford it, of course).
Those looking to pick up the Corvette Stingray Convertible can choose to have the folding hardtop finished in the same color as the body or in what Chevrolet dubs ‘Carbon Flash’ or ‘Carbon Flash Nacelles.’ There are also six different wheels to choose from and four brake caliper colors; Black, Yellow, Bright Red, and Edge Red.

When we were experimenting with the configurator, we weren’t able to get the available standard rear wing to load up, but press photos of the car (above) do show that it is available, just like on the coupe, and so is the high-wing spoiler like the car we configured. A plethora of carbon fiber exterior parts are also on offer but, due to the presence of the new decklid and location of the roof when stowed away, there’s no way to see the 6.2-liter V8 through a panel.
It’s not uncommon for convertible variants of mid-engined sports cars and supercars to be substantially more expensive than their coupe alternatives. That’s not the case with the Corvette as prices will start at only $7500 more than the entry-level 1LT Stingray coupe, with which it also shares the same 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trim levels.
