The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible premiered earlier this week and while some may disagree, we happen to think it looks even better than the coupe.

Ever since the coupe premiered back in mid-July, people have complained about the Corvette looking like a budget Ferrari or a budget Audi R8. However, I fail to see how that’s a bad thing. After all, comparing the looks of the C8 to a Ferrari can only be a compliment as the Prancing Horse has been responsible for building some of the best-looking cars ever. Plus, the Corvette is way cheaper than a comparable Ferrari.

With the Convertible, Chevrolet has made its mid-engined sports car even more appealing.

The example featured in the video below is painted in Sebring Orange and incorporates a selection of carbon fiber exterior accents and black buttresses behind the driver and passenger seats. Making this Corvette look all the more glorious is an interior dominated by white leather.

In addition, the video shows the Corvette’s folding roof in action. It opens or closes in just 16-seconds and at speeds of up to 30 mph (48 km/h). Another great feature of the new droptop is that it features a small rear window behind the cabin that can be opened and closed regardless of whether or not the roof is open or folded away. This means drivers can open up the rear window while keeping the roof on if they want to enjoy some extra sound from the 6.2-liter V8.

Chevrolet released the official online configurator for the car and we recommend heading on over to create your dream car.
