It is no secret that many high-end luxury cars from Europe experience mind-blowing levels of depreciation the moment they leave the showroom floor. The Rolls-Royce Phantom is no different.
If you were in the market for a 2007 model year Phantom, you would have had to shell out around $350,000 depending on what options you selected and where you lived. Now, a 2007 Phantom with just 4200 miles (6759 km) under its belt is up for sale on Bring A Trailer and with one week left in the auction, it had attracted a highest bid of $42,000.

According to the listing, this Phantom is the extended wheelbase model and the exterior finish is unlike any other we’ve seen. The lower portion of the car is painted silver while most surfaces above the doors are painted in a shimmering shade of Burgundy. It’s certainly an interesting look. Also catching the eye are optional 21-inch chrome wheels and if you thought the exterior was bold, just wait until you see the interior.
There you will find white leather front and rear seats as well as bright pink/purple carpets and burgundy-colored leather accents. There is also a dizzying array of wood-trimmed parts and all the creature comforts you could wish for. At the rear, for example, there are fold-away tray tables that convert into infotainment monitors, a coolbox, reversible footrests, curtains, and vanity mirrors.
A CarFax report reveals the car was owned by its first owner for just over two years and resided in Florida. Its second owner had it for almost nine years and kept it in California. The selling dealership has owned it since 2018.
