A new Ferrari model has been filmed bathed in camouflage while testing near the company’s home in Maranello, Italy.
We’ve known for quite some time that Ferrari intended on releasing five new vehicles this year and has so far revealed four in the form of the F8 Tributo, SF90 Stradale, F8 Spider, and 812 GTS and it had remained a mystery what the fifth model would be. This appears to be it, according to loyal Carscoops reader Omar.
A look over at the Ferrari Chat forums indicates that the car in question is known internally as F169 and will be unveiled at a special event in Rome, Italy.

In the brief video, we can see the car driving around a parking lot, briefly accelerating, and cruising down the road before the Ferrari engineer behind the wheel reportedly stopped to give the person filming a bit of a tongue-lashing.
It is understood that the vehicle will be similar to the current Portofino and make use of the same V8 engine. However, the vehicle will allegedly feature bodywork bespoke to the Portofino and will be more than a simple ‘Coupe’ version of the company’s entry-level model. The car is also thought to be a 2+2.
While some claim the car will have a V8, others assert that it will premiere the new V6 engine which Ferrari has previously confirmed it is developing. We will have to wait and see.
Invites sent for the car’s unveiling suggest dealers will see it on November 13 while the rest of the world will be shown the latest Ferrari on November 14. Stay tuned.
