Parking lot hijinks are nothing new, but they cost two owners dearly. And guess what? No Mustangs were actively involved – despite one being there on hand. How about that?
As you can see in this clip uploaded on social media, a Jeep Grand Cherokee and what appears to be a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R were apparently attempting to perform stunts in front of a crowd. While the action isn’t particularly noteworthy, something went horribly wrong.
About five seconds into the video, you can see the Grand Cherokee circle around what looks like a Honda CR-V. As this happens, the driver floors it and apparently loses control of the Jeep. It then rams into the R34 GT-R which was sitting in the middle of the parking lot.

The clip ends shortly thereafter, but the impact popped the Skyline GT-R’s hood open and smashed the front fender. The car was also pushed sideways and the owner is undoubtedly looking at an expensive repair bill due to someone else’s stupidity.
As for the Jeep, the damage isn’t visible. However, the crash likely destroyed the front bumper and grille as well as someone’s pride.
The video doesn’t provide a lot of context, but the Jeep sounds and looks like it’s either a Grand Cherokee SRT or Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The former features a 6.4-liter V8 engine that produces 475 hp (354 kW / 482 PS) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).
The Trackhawk, on the other hand, has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 which churns out 707 hp (527 kW) and 645 lb-ft (875 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the extra power, the dash from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) is cut to 3.5 seconds while the top speed climbs to 180 mph (290 km/h).
