No, your eyes do not deceive you. This really isn’t a four-door Mustang, but rather a much-more expensive German sports sedan in flagship spec. And yet, its driver did their best to behave as if the car had ‘GT’ and ‘5.0’ badges on it, instead of ‘AMG’, ‘C63 S’ and ‘V8 Biturbo’ lettering.
According to the description of the video, the incident took place earlier this week in Rotterdam, Netherlands during an event called 100% Autolive, held at a local convention center.
Actually, the car was just leaving the event when its driver decided to drift their way into that corner, in what was likely an attempt to show off for the cameras. Unfortunately, they failed to countersteer a second time (at least not in time), allowing the rear end of the super sports sedan to kick out violently and spin the C63 around, directly into a tree.
As you can see, that was quite a hit the car took and we’d be surprised if the side airbags didn’t deploy, or if the chassis didn’t suffer any structural damage. You can also hear a loud thumping noise when the right-rear wheel hits the curb, a split second before the car smashes into the tree.
We’re also guessing that the driver disconnected some of the car’s electronics in order to perform that initial slide, which is precisely how you can get in trouble when dealing with this much power.

The W205 Mercedes-AMG C63 S is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, producing 503 HP (510 PS) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. That’s a lot of pulling power for just one axle, especially for somebody who isn’t a professional, or at least very experienced behind the wheel.
In the end, let’s just call this for what it is – a very expensive “lesson learned”.
