Porsche has dolled up the 718 Cayman GT4 for its home market with the launch of the new Sports Cup Edition.
Presented over the weekend at the Hockenheimring as a celebration of the Porsche Sports Cup finale and the opening of the brand’s new Experience Center, the special edition is offered for a limited period starting October 14.
The things that make this 718 Cayman GT4 special are the Black and White exterior colors, along with the red highlights that underline the motorsport-inspired design. The car boasts the number 15 on the sides, reminiscent of the 15th anniversary of Porsche’s Sports Cup Germany, black 20-inch wheels with red flange and black brake calipers.

A selection of fine materials and colors further enhance the looks of the cockpit. Porsche has added black leather and Alcantara upholstery with decorative stitching, red seatbelts and door opener loops, a red 12 o’clock marking on the steering wheel, black brushed titanium elements, ‘718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition’ door entry guards, a ‘Porsche 15 Jahre Sports Cup Deutschland’ logo embossed in the center console armrest and unique floor mats.
Powering the special edition is the same 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six as the regular GT4. It puts out 420 PS (414 HP/ 309 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque and is paired to a six-speed manual transmission, enabling the top 718 Cayman to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 4.4 seconds and max out at 304 km/h (189 mph).
