Chevrolet hasn’t released a Ford F-150 Raptor competitor, so PaxPower has decided to do it for them with their new Jackal.
Based on the Silverado, the Jackal is available in three different stages and is billed as a “very capable” Raptor killer.
The entry-level Stage 1 package costs $14,950 and features a modified exterior with a ram air hood and fender flares that are 2 inches wider than stock. The truck has also been equipped with 17-inch wheels that are wrapped in 35-inch Toyo R/T tires.
The upgrades aren’t just visual as PaxPower also installs upper control arms from BajaKits. Elsewhere, there are 2.5-inch coilovers and shocks from King.

The Stage 2 costs $10,000 more and is aimed directly at the Raptor. It builds on the previous kit and adds custom fenders and bedsides that are 3.5 inches wider than usual.
The suspension has also been upgraded as the shocks are adjustable and a front prerunner kit has been installed. Out back, there’s a rear shackle kit that “aids with travel and strength.”
Lastly, the Stage 3 kit costs $34,950 and features more extensive upgrades. On the outside, there are Addictive Desert Designs bumpers and an 40-inch LED light bar. The model has also been outfitted with larger 37-inch Toyo R/T tires.
The suspension has been upgraded as well as there are 3-inch coilovers and shocks with an internal bypass. The company says this helps to provide a smooth ride and “serious dampening on big hits.” The truck has also been equipped with Deaver progressive rate leaf springs that promise a “significantly softer ride and even more suspension travel.”
All three variants are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine that has been equipped with a GM Performance engine calibration, a cold-air intake and a dual exhaust system. This increases the output to 442 hp (330 kW / 448 PS) and 475 lb-ft (643 Nm) of torque. Thanks to the extra power, the pickup can accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 5.7 seconds.
