It looks like the RS6 Avant won’t be the only Audi wagon coming to America as a new report is suggesting the high-performance model will be joined by the A6 Allroad.

According to Automobile Magazine, several officials – including Audi Sport managing director Oliver Hoffmann – revealed the rugged wagon is heading stateside. The automaker hasn’t officially confirmed the news, but the publication believes it’s just a matter of time as Audi of America could be wrapping up their business case for the car.

While Audi offers the A4 Allroad in the United States, it’s been years since they sold the A6 Allroad here. The absence has forced consumers to turn to Volvo which sells the V60 and V90 Cross Country. They’re niche vehicles, but Volvo typically sells more than 2,000 units of each model annually.

There’s no word on when the A6 Allroad could cross the Atlantic, but the redesigned wagon was unveiled earlier this summer. The model largely echoes the A6 Avant, but is distinguished by a unique grille, special roof rails and scandium gray body cladding. The wagon also sports faux aluminum skid plates, underbody protection and an adaptive air suspension that provides up to 7.2 inches (184 mm) of ground clearance.

Engine options remain unconfirmed, but the US-spec A6 is available with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 248 hp (185 kW / 251 PS) and 273 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque. Customers can also opt for a 3.0-liter V6 with 335 hp (250 kW / 340 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. Both are connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which sends power to a standard quattro all-wheel drive system.

In other news, the publication says US customers could get the recently unveiled RS Q3.  It features a turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine that produces 395 hp (294 kW / 400 PS) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque. This enables the crossover to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of up to 174 mph (280 km/h).
