Toyota Gazoo Racing will start selling the Supra GT4 to European customer teams in March 2020, with North America to follow in August and Japan/Asia in October of the same year.

The new Toyota GR Supra GT4 race car is closely related to the road-going model, featuring the same 3.0-liter straight-six engine with a twin-scroll turbocharger, only here it’s tuned to produce 430 HP and fitted with an Akrapovic exhaust system.

A seven-speed sports automatic transmission with paddles on the steering wheel replaces the eight-speed auto, and there’s a mechanical motorsport-spec locking differential as well.

The overall weight is set at 1,350kg (2,976lbs), while the GT4 race car keeps the road going’s Supra’s front MacPherson strut and multilink rear layout, utilizing adjustable KW performance dampers all around. The racing brakes come from Brembo, featuring six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston ones at the rear, while the 18-inch OZ rims are shod in Pirelli tires.

The GR Supra GT4 comes with the obligatory roll cage and a FIA-spec racing seat fitted with a six-point harness, while the dash is fitted with a carbon-fiber instrument panel that houses a display and a steering wheel designed specifically for GT4 competition.

Customer teams wishing to come in contact for regional sales and customer support should refer to Toyota Motorsport in Europe, TRD USA in North America and Toyota Customizing and Development in Japan/Asia.

The new GR Supra GT4 is expected to be priced from 175,000 euros ($194k in current exchange rates), excluding taxes, customs fees and other costs.
