The C-HR is an aggressively styled crossover, but it appears that one Michigan resident didn’t think Toyota’s designers went far enough.
As a result, they created this monstrosity which was recently spotted by a Redditor. It’s hard to know where to begin, but we’ll start from the fake front fender vents and work out way back.
While the C-HR is pretty much devoid of chrome trim, this owner thought the more, the merrier. As you can see, they added chrome window trim and chrome door handles with chrome surrounds. Since that’s clearly not enough, the crossover was also equipped with an aftermarket fuel door that features even more chrome. The bling doesn’t end there as owner also installed chrome on the liftgate and factory rear spoiler.

As everyone knows, chrome alone adds 150 hp, so the owner did the next logical thing – install a wing. It’s massive and undoubtedly compromises rear visibility, but it adds at least 300 horses.
Besides all that extra power, the wing has a lesser known benefit of keeping the rear wheels glued to the road. This effectively compensates for the C-HR’s lack of all-wheel drive and it’s a truly brilliant idea.
Since it would be silly to stop there, the owner also installed extended side skirts and an aftermarket rear fascia insert with integrated exhaust tips.
The end result is certainly unique, but it’s kind of a shame as the crossover wouldn’t look so bad if lost a bit of chrome trim.
