Fresh off the Aston Martin DBX debuting online, the super SUV was unveiled in China where it was displayed in a rather alluring deep green color.
It’s difficult to tell from these images alone the exact color we’re looking at from Aston Martin’s extensive palette, but it certainly appears similar to the company’s shade of Minotaur Green. The hue is subtle enough to nicely suit the style and sophistication of the DBX while also adding a bit of flair that hints at the SUV’s performance. Another interesting shade we found through PC Auto is what seems to be the Satin Solar Bronze from the Q Palette.

The Aston Martin DBX is the fourth model in the company’s Second Century Plan first announced back in 2015. It will look to snatch away sales from models including the Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, and Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, all of which have carved out their own little niches in the super SUV market.
Powering the DBX is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter AMG V8 engine delivering 542 hp and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm ) of torque. This engine is paired with a nine-speed torque converter automatic transmission that sends power to all four wheels. Aston Martin says 0-62 mph (100 km/h) is dealt with in just 4.5 seconds and that the SUV won’t stop accelerating until it reaches 181 mph (291 km/h).
Viewed from both the outside and the inside, the DBX is clearly identifiable as an Aston Martin. Up front, it features the largest grille of any Aston Martin since the One-77 and features a rear end very similar to the Aston Martin Vantage.
