The Chevrolet Colorado has put on a sportier design for the 2020MY with the RS limited edition. The pickup truck is not offered in North America, though, as it’s exclusively aimed at Thailand.
Set to debut at the country’s International Motor Expo, which runs between November 29 and December 10, it’s assembled at GM’s Rayong plant and comes in the X-Cab LT and C-Cab LT body styles.
It carries a 10,000 THB ($331) premium on top of the official MSRPs of the two models of 665,000 THB ($22,000) and 789,000 THB ($26,103), respectively, and production is capped at 200 units.

Compared to the rest of the Colorado lineup, the RS Limited Edition is offered in a choice of red, blue, orange or white exterior paint finishes with black contrasting hood, roof, tailgate and side mirror caps. The grille and bowtie emblem are also blacked out and the rear bumper has been removed for a more customized look.
“With the RS, we wanted to give customers a unique platform to express their personal style”, said GM Southeast Asia Director of Marketing and Communications, Sean Poppitt. “With its low stance and rebellious styling, Colorado RS is ready to do double duty as both a highly capable work truck and lifestyle vehicle.”
While getting ready for the Thai event, Chevrolet is present at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show these days, and among the vehicles on display, visitors will get to see the new Corvette C8, as well as the new Trailblazer SUV.
