The Lexus LC Inspiration Series has touched down in Australia, where “fewer than 10 units” will be available to those interested in the luxury GT.
Priced from AU$205,512 (US$142,057), the LC 500 Inspiration Series is the most affordable model. It packs a 5.0-liter, V8 petrol unit pumping out 470hp / 351kW and 540Nm of torque, paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox. For the 354hp / 264kW 3.5-liter V6 petrol-hybrid 500h model, you will have to fork out at least AU$206,070 (US$142,443).
Review: 2019 Lexus LC500 Limited Edition Is A Master Of All Trades
Available in the exclusive Khaki Metal exterior paint finish, the LC Inspiration Series can also be had in the Graphite Black or Titanium, though we don’t know why you’d ever consider it after looking at the green color in the pictures. Besides the model-specific color, it gets LED headlights and rides on two-tone 21-inch forged alloy wheels. Customized scuff plates will greet you every time you open the door.
Inside, the special edition LC gets the L-Aniline leather for the first time, which is described as “the softest and highest-grade leather available in the Lexus lineup”. Also offered in a premiere are the tan-colored seats and center console, which come in contrast with the dark Alcantara trim on the door panels and black leather used on the seat bolsters, dashboard, center console and steering wheel.
Coinciding with the launch of the LC Inspiration Series is the introduction of the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity in all LC grades purchased after November 1. This feature complements the 10.3-inch infotainment system, with satellite navigation, DAB+ radio, voice control and Mark Levinson premium sound system.
