Another year, another SEMA Show event in Las Vegas, where carmakers, tuners and various tech companies from all over the world can showcase their latest builds and products.

If you’ve been following the action, then you probably know about yesterday’s major reveals, which include the likes of SpeedKore’s 1,525 HP Charger, multiple Toyota Supra tuning concepts, a 1,200 HP Camaro ZL1, a 900 HP fully-electric Mustang and a wide range of restomods.

Now, if you happen to be a fan of the latter category, then you’ll probably want to hear a thing or two about this widebody 1972 BMW 2002, built by Dalmakis Performance in partnership with Sprint Booster and JRP.

You definitely don’t have to look too far in order to see why this is a very special car. For starters, it is powered by BMW’s S55 engine, meaning the engine started off as the same 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six that resides beneath the hood of the current BMW M3/M4 duo (F80/F82/F83 models).

Dubbed ‘MBeast’, the car also features a fully customized interior borrowed from an E90 BMW 3-Series. Other mods include the Recaro seats, roll cage, bead rolled panels, HD clamps, two intercooler cores, Forge calipers, BBS wheels and much more.

In the end, we’re not sure how much power is currently coursing through its veins, but we wouldn’t be at all surprised if put down 500 or more horses.
