One of the first 2019 McLaren Senna GTR models delivered earlier this year will cross the auction block on November 30 in Abu Dhabi courtesy of RM Sotheby’s.

The Senna GTR is, of course, the most track-focused production vehicle to come out of Woking since the P1 GTR. It is powered by the same 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 as the ‘regular’ Senna, but features a new Inconel and titanium exhaust system that frees up power and results in a total of 814 HP and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque.

Of more importance is the fact that the Senna GTR is lighter, tipping the scales at a mere 1,188 kg (2,619 lbs) dry, which provides it with a power-to-weight ratio of 648 hp-per-tonne. Power is sent to the ground through the same seven-speed Seamless Shift Gearbox dual-clutch automatic as the road-legal Senna, complete with Launch Control. The car also sports Wet, Track, and Race powertrain modes.

Aggressive aerodynamic parts adorn the exterior of the Senna GTR and include a towering rear wing that helps deliver more than 1,000 kg (2,205 lbs) of peak downforce and the same levels of downforce as the ‘regular’ Senna at 15 per cent lower speeds.

This particular Senna GTR in question is number 17 of just 75 units that will be built and has a grand total of 39 miles (64 km) on the clock. What’s particularly intriguing about the car is that it has an estimated auction price of between $1.5 million and $1.75 million. That’s not as much as one may expect, considering the car had a starting price of $1.44 million-plus taxes and the driveaway price of this one was likely a little more than that.
