Today’s super estates have become quicker than some previous-gen supercars, and one of the ones capable of injecting drivers with a large dose of adrenaline is the Audi RS4 Avant.

Mind you, this is not the facelifted version, but the previous B9, whose 2.9-liter, twin-turbo V6 was tuned by Elmerhaus to produce 520 PS (513 hp / 382 kW), or 70 PS (69 hp / 51 kW) more than stock. The German tuner has also fitted it with a custom exhaust system that brings the usual pops and crackles to the party.

Finished in a beautiful green shade with glossy black elements, this RS4 Avant was set loose on secondary roads, being pushed hard every now and then. The video was shot from the driver’s perspective and demonstrates the awesomeness of the Mercedes-AMG C63 Estate challenger.

In case you’re interested in the latest RS4 Avant, then get ready to pay €81,400 ($90,809) in Europe, before options and dealer fees. It will go on sale in select markets this month, and will hit the dealerships in December.

We don’t know yet if it will launch in the United States, but if you need a blistering-fast Audi estate, then the larger RS6 Avant will have to make do for now. It’s also more powerful, as its 592 HP (600 PS / 441 kW) 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 allows it to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.6 seconds, half a second quicker than the RS4.
