If you want a car that’s capable of keeping pace with a supercar in a straight line while ferrying five occupants in supreme comfort, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S from Brabus is a very tantalizing prospect.

Brabus first unveiled its 800 package for the E 63 S at the Geneva Motor Show back in March 2018 and in this video, we’re able to see just how incredibly fast the super sedan is. It’s so fast that it’s actually rather scary.

As the name of the package implies, it delivers a total of 800 PS or 789 hp. Brabus fits a pair of new turbochargers to the 4.0-liter V8 and tweak’s the vehicle’s various computers to achieve such a monumental horsepower figure. In addition, torque is increased to 737 lb-ft (1000 Nm).

In a recent test of the car, it accelerated off the line with blistering pace and hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.9 seconds, and 300 km/h (186 mph) in 24.3 seconds. The car continued through to a GPS-verified top speed of 336 km/h (208.7 mph) before the driver hit the brakes. Had the ribbon of tarmac in front of the driver been slightly longer, we suspect the car would have kept accelerating.

The Brabus 800 package isn’t just about performance and also includes a number of styling alterations. For example, it includes a revised front splitter, aftermarket wheels, a bespoke rear lip spoiler, and an aggressive rear diffuser.
