In M340i spec, the seventh-gen BMW 3-Series is a very quick premium sports sedan. It also costs a pretty penny, which is why buyers might feel the need to opt for a more exclusive spec, so that their 3er doesn’t appear in any way common.
This particular car, on display at the automaker’s Abu Dhabi showroom, ticks all those boxes. The exterior is drenched in Sapphire Black Metallic, yet also comes with an M Sport body kit and Cerium Grey accents.
Then there are the blue calipers, which match up rather well with the dual tone blue and black Merino leather interior, which also features white contrast stitching and wood accents on the center console and upper dashboard.

The blue leather meanwhile is found on the seats, armrest and door panels. At first glance, all that blue might seem a bit out of place, but once you factor in the calipers, the dark blue stripe within the M badges, plus the light blue on the BMW badges, the configuration begins to make a lot more sense.
As for how special of a car this is in a straight line, we can tell you that it comes with a turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six unit, putting down 368 HP (374 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.
Thanks to its xDrive all-wheel drive system, the M340i can accelerate from zero to 60 mph (96 km/h) in as little as 4.2 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.4 sec), which means it’s quicker off the line than both the 2019 Mercedes-AMG C43, as well as the Audi S4.
