The Genesis GV80 is leaking like a sieve and the latest report from South Korea has detailed specifications.

According to Top Rider, the model will initially be launched with a six-cylinder 3.0-liter diesel engine that produces 274 hp (205 kW / 278 PS) and 434 lb-ft (589 Nm) of torque. The engine will reportedly be paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and enable the crossover to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 6.8 seconds.

One month later, Genesis will reportedly offer two petrol variants. The smaller of the two is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. It should allow the crossover to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 6.9 seconds.

Buyers looking for more performance will reportedly be able to opt for a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. Thanks to the larger displacement, the engine will produce 375 hp (279 kW / 380 PS) and 390 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. This should cut the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time to 5.7 seconds.

The report doesn’t say much else about the GV80, but the crossover is said to measure 195 inches (4945 mm) long, 77.8 inches (1975 mm) wide and 67.5 inches (1715 mm) tall with a wheelbase that spans 116.3 inches (2955 mm). To put those numbers into perspective, the BMW X5 is 194.3 inches (4935 mm) long, 78.9 inches (2004 mm) wide and 69 inches (1753 mm) tall with a 117.1 inch (2974 mm) wheelbase.

The report also says the crossover will use a number of aluminum components. The translation is a bit rough, but it sounds like the hood, doors and tailgate will incorporate the lightweight material to save approximately 90 lbs (41 kg) of weight.

South Korean pricing will reportedly start at ₩58.5 million ($49,138 / £37,379 / €44,415) and hit ₩82.5 million ($69,296 / £52,713 / €62,637) for a well equipped diesel variant. Speaking of equipment, it appears the GV80 will be offered with second row power seats just like the Mercedes GLE.
