While Honda has already revealed the new generation Jazz in Japan, the current model soldiers on in the US market, always bearing the Fit moniker, for the 2020 model year.
The 2020 Honda Fit goes on sale on December 16, with prices kicking off at $17,120, including a $930 destination fee. The base LX trim comes fitted with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, as is the more aggressively styled Sport model, priced from $18,530.

Moving up the range of the revamped Fit we find the EX trim, priced from $19,900, which is CVT-only and offers the company’s Sensing suite of driver assistance systems as standard. The latter is no longer available on the LX and Sport models, while the range-topping EX-L, which is priced at $21,550, adds leather upholstery and more.
All 2020 Honda Fit models offer plenty of kit as standard, including a rearview camera, liftgate spoiler, auto headlights, LED taillights, Bluetooth, and a multi-function center console. Sport models and above also get a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Honda’s Sensing suite of driver assist systems for the 2020 Fit include Collision Mitigation Braking System with Forward Collision Warning and pedestrian detection, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist System and Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning as standard, and auto high-beam headlights as an option.
Powering the 2020 Fit is a naturally aspirated, 1.5-liter i-VTEC four-cylinder that produces 130 HP and 114 lb-ft of torque. The small Honda continues to offer outstanding fuel economy, at 33 / 40 / 36 mpg EPA (city/highway/combined) for the LX CVT model.
Offering one of the most clever packaging available, which includes having the fuel tank mounted under the front seats, the Fit may be small on the outside but offers a surprising amount of room on the inside, including a class-leading 52.7 cubic-feet of space with the rear seats folded down.
