Not long after we caught a glimpse of the 2021 Escalade’s exterior and interior, Cadillac released a short video teasing the large SUV’s dashboard that will feature the world’s first curved OLED screen in a production vehicle.
The cutting-edge display will measure 38 inches in diameter, featuring twice the pixel density of a 4K television; Cadillac claims that the new Escalade’s display will offer perfect blacks and the largest color range available in the automotive industry.
In addition, Cadillac confirmed that the 2021 Escalade will debut during the first week of February.

“From the highway to the big screen, the Escalade has been embraced by drivers and fans around the world,” said Steve Carlisle, Cadillac president. “We’re excited to introduce the 2021 Escalade during Oscars week in February.”
Images of the new-generation Cadillac Escalade have already been leaked, showcasing a more modern design within a similar shape. Following the brand’s latest visual language, the Escalade adopts the same style with models like the XT6 SUV, with elements like the front grille being bigger and more imposing.
The interior of the new Escalade is dominated by that massive display that runs across two-thirds of the dashboard; compared to the outgoing model, the cabin appears to feature much less switchgear and makes use of a traditional gear selector on the center console instead of a column shifter.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade will ride on the same T1 truck platform with the new Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, which renders the full-size luxury SUV compatible with electrification.
