RM Sotheby’s will auction off a stunning 2018 Pagani Huayra Roadster bathed in blue-tinted carbon fiber at its Arizona auction in mid-January.

Production of the Pagani Huayra Roadster is capped to just 100 examples worldwide and this car is number 42. It was delivered to a customer in the U.S. a little while back and while no pre-auction estimate has been published, it can be expected to sell for more than $3 million.

Not Cheap: One Percenter Alert – 2017 Pagani Huayra Roadster For Less Than $4 Million

Pagani introduced the Huayra Roadster at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2017. Making the open-top hypercar particularly remarkable is the fact that it weighs 176 lbs (80 kg) less than the Huayra Coupe thanks to the Italian company’s ever-increasing expertise with carbon fiber.

Sitting behind the cockpit is a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V12 delivering 754 HP and in excess of 738 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque. This power is channeled to the rear wheels via a seven-speed automated manual transmission lifted from the Huayra BC.

Complementing the blue carbon fiber finish of this example are a series of white accents. Inside, the staggering craftsmanship continues with a combination of white and tan leather covering most surfaces. Inside, you’ll also find brushed aluminum parts, blue stitching and heaps of exposed carbon fiber. It truly is a work of art.

Making the car all the more desirable is the fact that it has been driven less than 200 miles (320 km) and is in perfect condition. For anyone who missed out on a Huayra Roadster allocation from the factory, this is their chance to get one that’s nearly as good as new.
