A brand new Porsche 911 GT2 RS was damaged early last month just minutes after being driven off the showroom floor.
According to The Daily Mail, that the red GT2 RS was taken out for a test drive by an unnamed man in Penarth, Wales when the unthinkable happened.
No footage of the crash is available, so it’s impossible to know who is actually to blame for the crash. It is reported that no less than five cars were involved in the incident and images show that the German exotic suffered quite a lot of damage. In particular, we can see that the Porsche ran into another vehicle, crushing its front bumper and the passenger side front fender. It doesn’t look pretty and won’t be cheap to repair either.

Speaking with The Daily Mail, fellow driver Hywel Williams claims the Porsche driver asserted the car had a brake issue: “The guy had only just picked it up from Porsche around the corner and he claimed the brakes failed.”
A spokesperson from the South Wales Police said authorities attended the scene and quickly recovered all of the vehicles involved. It is likely that an investigation is ongoing to determine who is to blame for the crash. Fortunately, no one was injured.
This isn’t the first crash involving the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in recent months. In early October, a silver and black example was filmed slamming into a rare Pagani Huayra BC during a track day at the Monza F1 circuit in Italy. It would, however, appear that one was a little more severe than the incident in Wales.
