As of mid-November, it was confirmed that there were more than 5,000 C7 Corvettes sitting on dealership lots in the U.S. Chevrolet is apparently looking to off-load them with a new discount offer for 2019 models.

As reported by GM Authority, the offer which ran through November 2019, but could be extended into December, offered $3,000 in owner loyalty cash for any current Corvette owner looking to upgrade to a 2019 model, as well as a $6,404 price reduction below MSRP, resulting in total potential savings of up to $9,404. This is believed to be one of the largest discounts ever offered for the C7 Corvette.

Now Is The Time To Buy: U.S. Chevy Dealers Have 5,000+ Corvette C7s To Sell Until The C8 Enters Production

It is understood that both the $3,000 in owner loyalty cash and the $6,404 price reduction were available for all 2019 Corvette models, ranging from the Stingray through to the Grand Sport, the Z06 and the range-topping ZR1.

The entry-level 2019 Corvette Stingray 1LT has a starting MSRP of $56,995. Apply the $9,404 in savings, and the price drops down to $47,591. As for the C7 Grand Sport 1LT, it could be purchased for as little as $57,591 as opposed to $66,995, while a Z06 1LZ was available from just $72,591, down from its $81,995 MSRP.

The deal stipulated that customers must take deliveries of their vehicles by December 2nd, 2019, and that it wasn’t available with special finance, lease, or some other offers. If the incentive proved popular and helps boost sales of the C7, Chevrolet could extend the offer. We have reached out to the automaker to see if this is indeed a possibility and are waiting their response.
