Aston Martin has been readying the Lagonda brand for a relaunch and reinvention for a number of years and early next decade, will launch both an all-electric sedan and an all-electric crossover. This vehicle presented by Oscar Johansson is a futuristic take on what a third model from the company could look like in concept form.

Known simply as the Lagonda August, the car is unlike any current Aston Martin model or recent Lagonda concept. It has been designed as a plush, expensive, and exotic single-seater that would offer drivers the ultimate in luxury and privacy.

Future Tech For A Classic Company: Aston Martin’s Reborn Lagonda To Launch Company’s First Electric Model In 2021

The study takes the shape of a huge coupe more akin to a luxury yacht than a traditional two-door coupe you’ll find on the market. The sleek bodywork is characterized by a sharp nose and an all-glass canopy allowing for a spacious cabin for the sole occupant. Covering the wheels is sensual bodywork while at the rear a single piece of curved glass stretches out from the roof and connects to a thin LED light bar running the width of the rear.

Johansson’s unique design carries through to the interior where there is a large single-seat wrapped in white leather more akin to a lounge chair than the seat of a car. There is a complete lack of traditional controls, leading us to believe that the concept has been designed to feature a Level 5 autonomous driving system.

A vehicle like this is unlikely to ever be produced by Lagonda or Aston Martin itself for that matter. Nonetheless, it’s cool to imagine what could be if money was no object for the British marque.
