With wedge-shaped vehicles slowly becoming the talk of the town again (thanks Elon!), the timing of buying an Aston Martin Lagonda never seemed more right.
This 1984 Aston Martin Lagonda Series 2 is a low-mileage example described to be in a great condition and offered for $70,000 on eBay.
The seller says that the bodywork still wears its original red paint while the interior features grey leather with red piping over bright red carpets and of course that bonkers, straight-outta-sc-fi LED digital cluster and a set of touch panels on each side of the single-spoke steering wheel.

Aston Martin decided to give the Lagonda one of the most striking and dramatic shapes ever given to a four-door car; you either love it or hate it, there’s no middle ground here.
Power is provided by a 5.3-liter V8 engine with four carburetors, paired to a Chrysler-sourced three-speed automatic transmission, producing around 280 HP. This is enough to send the 2-tonne Lagonda on a top speed of 143 mph (243 km/h), hitting 0-60 mph in 8.8 seconds.
It took Aston Martin 2,200 man hours to build by hand each Lagonda, with the total production run totaling at just 645 cars over the span of 12 years, making this one of the rarest four-door cars in the world.
But the most admirable thing about the Aston Martin Lagonda is that it dared to be different; so different in fact that even today looks like something out of a Thunderbirds sci-fi movie.
