Audi has been sponsoring Real Madrid since 2003, and for the 2019-2020 season, they have prepped a new lineup of vehicles that will be used by the soccer players and their coach, Zinedine Zidane.

The 47-year old Frenchman, who played for Real Madrid between 2001 and 2006, scoring 37 goals in total, went for a black Audi RS3 Sportback. The hot hatch was also chosen by Karim Benzema and Thibaut Courtois, who went for a white and grey paint finish, respectively.

Sergio Ramos will be driving an A8 flagship sedan again, whereas Vinicius Junior, Alvara Odriozola, Marco Asensio and Marcelo Vieira went for the A7 Sportback. Raphael Varane was the only one who favored the E-Tron electric SUV, while seven other players, including Dani Carvajal, Lucas Vasquez, Toni Kroos, James Rodriguez, Eden Hazard, Fede Valverde and Nacho Fernandez couldn’t say no to the first-ever Q8 coupe SUV.

The most favored model was the new generation Q7, which will be driven this season by 11 players of the Spanish soccer club. Among them, we find Brahim Diaz, Luka Jovic, Alphonse Areola, Mariano Diaz, Luka Modric, Eder Militao, Rodrygo Goes, Carlos Casemiro, Ferland Mendy, Gareth Bale and Isco Alarcon.

“Technique, sportsmanship, elegance, precision… The values on which the relationship of success that Audi and Real Madrid have maintained since July 2003 are common in both the automobile and sports world, and they are still valid sixteen years later”, Audi noted. “Since the first sponsorship agreement was signed, each season the club players used vehicles of the four-ring brand for their journeys. And now they just received the keys to their new cars.”
